This classic Mexican appetizer can be customized however you choose. It's perfect for the big game.
- 8oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 finely-diced poblano pepper
- 9oz chorizo sausage
- 10oz shredded Oaxaca or quesadilla cheese
- Tomato and cilantro for garnish
- Flour tortillas or corn chips
Cook chorizo and epper in a sauté pan around 6 minutes or until done. Remove it from heat.
Spray an oven-safe skillet or pan and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Layer cheese and chorizo pepper mixture in the skillet.
Bake for 12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling around the edges. Garnish with tomato and cilantro. Serve with warmed flour tortillas or corn chips.
