It's been a long and emotionally grueling process, but Matt Mooney has made his decision.

There was no shortage of suitors for the South Dakota graduate transfer, who averaged 18.4 points for the Coyotes over the past two seasons.

At least a dozen "Power Five" programs expressed some level of interest in the two-time All-Summit League selection, although he ultimately chose Texas Tech over Northwestern and Creighton. 

Today he explained that decision and also reflected on his experience in Vermillion.
