Hy-Vee Tailgate Tips: Honey Sesame Grilled Shrimp

Midco Sports Network and the seven Sioux Falls Hy-Vee Stores have teamed up to provide Hy-Vee Tailgate Tips throughout the 2015-2016 sports season. During every home SDSU and USD broadcast, on Midco SN, a Sioux Falls area Hy-Vee Chef will prepare something you can create for your guests when you watch the game.

If you want something a little different at your tailgate party this weekend, add in some seafood. Your guests will enjoy this tasty shrimp recipe that’s both sweet and spicy.

 

HONEY SESAME GRILLED SHRIMP

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1/4 c white wine
  • 1T honey
  • 1t sugar
  • 1T rice vinegar
  • 1T sesame oil
  • 2t garlic
  • 1t soy sauce
  • 21T sesame seeds


Combine all ingredients and pour over shrimp. Set broiler 8 inches above pan and broil for 8-12 minutes, or grill over medium heat 2-3 minutes per side.
