Podcast: Little Big League Actor Luke Edwards

25 years ago, Little Big League arrived in theaters. Although it only made a modest $12 million at the box office, it cemented its place as a classic kids' baseball movie on home video. For fans of the Minnesota Twins, it was especially noteworthy, since it featured their hometown team.

One of those fans is our own David Brown! On this edition of the Midco Sports Network podcast, David caught up with lead actor Luke Edwards who played the role of Billy Heywood, the owner and manager of the Twins. They discuss Edwards’ acting career, filming the movie in Minnesota in the summer of 1993, and what it was like interacting with MLB superstars. There are also plenty of behind-the-scenes nuggets, as well as a pitch by David for a sequel!
