This week I exchanged messages with Sheyenne head coach Leah Newton, she said she's happy sitting near the top of the tough EDC.
The EDC is very tough this year-a lot of teams are very competitive-we are pretty proud of where we are at so far and know that we will need to continue to work hard to finish towards the top of the EDC. - Leah Newton, Sheyenne Head Coach
NORTH DAKOTA CLASS AA
- Bismarck Century – 18-1 –Still haven't lost a set in conference (18-0) they face Bismarck on Thursday to try to stay perfect.
 - Grand Forks Red River – 13-3 – Riders keep rolling, Maggie Steffen had a big night with 21 kills, and 23 digs to lead them to first in conference.
 - Fargo Shanley – 12-3
 - Legacy 11-3 – Continued their strong season, winning a pair of WDA games last week and then finishing second at the Dickinson Tournament.
 - WF Sheyenne – 12-4 – It's crazy that a five set road loss to Red River drops them two spots, that's how razor thin I think the top five is this year and the slightest mistake can take you down a few notches.
