ND GIRLS B WEek one Rankings

1. Watford City || went 22-2 last season with their only losses to Bishop Ryan early in the year and to Parshall in the playoffs ( a team that they beat earlier in the year ). This year they return three double digit starters and will be led by senior, Katie Mogen.

2. Dickinson Trinity || Trinity went on a nice tournament run with a young group last year and return all five of their starters. There might not be a more athletic and balanced team in the state this year.

3. Thompson || The Tommies had a down year by their standards last season, but still managed to qualify for the state tournament and go 22-5. Their athletic front line will outmatch most teams in the state.

4. Bishop Ryan  || I know a lot of people feel this team lost too many players to be a top five team this year. Call me crazy but I think with the leadership of Sheyenne Schmidt and Morgan Kroeger they'll still be able to be an excellent team. They still have 83 consecutive wins against Class B opponents. That string will be tested against Thompson on Saturday.

5. LaMoure LM || One of the most seasoned groups back in the class, they carry some late season momentum from last year into the start of this season.

Other top teams: North Star, Shiloh Christian, Kidder County, Maple Valley, Rugby, FCT
