Plitzuweit Introduced as USD's New Head Coach

The University of South Dakota has its new women's basketball coach.

Athletic Director David Herbster officially introduced Dawn Plitzuweit during a news conference on Monday. She's the tenth head coach in program history.

Plitzuweit brings an impressive 188-93 (.669) career record to Vermillion, which she compiled over nine seasons at Northern Kentucky (2012-16) and Grand Valley State University (2002-07). Her teams made postseason appearances eight times in that span.

I got a chance to sit down with the Coyotes new bench boss ahead of the press conference on Monday. Here is that interview in its entirety: https://youtu.be/L2IRISiKkoE
