When I say that the South Dakota High School State Track and Field Meet is always a high point on the Rushmore State's sports calendar, I do so with certainty.

No other state event at the high school level brings more great athletes together in the same place at the same time with championships at stake.

It's a two-day event unlike any other, and after a year of waiting, it's finally arrived.
