Greg's Best Guess - Vol. 1 Issue 6

March Madness is just around the corner, but before everyone is racing to get their filled out brackets into their office pool, there's a two week period filled with conference tournaments across the country. You'll surely be watching the Summit League tournament unfold right here on MidcoSN, but there's 31 other conferences settling one postseason champion as well. The one left standing receives that league's bid for the automatic qualifier into the big dance. Never one to shy away from a task too large, we begin Greg's Best Guess at predicting how each of the 32 conference tournaments will unfold. The madness before the madness begins on Monday with the Atlantic Sun Tournament and wraps up with the Ivy League Tournament starting on March 10th. The day before each tourney tips off, I'll release my bracket for how things will shake out. Enjoy it, have fun with it, and let's get to it.

The Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament

While there's sure to be upsets and cinderella stories along our journey, the Atlantic Sun is clearly defined by the 'haves' and the 'have nots.' FGCU (last year's champ) and Lipscomb are the head of the class here and I expect to see the favorites throw down in the counference title tilt. It's a strictly campus site tournament, so I like FGCU to return to the NCAA tournament as they beat Lipscomb on their home floor.
