First, ICYMI there is a link to the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament bracket here. Today, we're moving on to the Big South and the Patriot League.

Big South Tournament

UNC Asheville is the favorite here, but look out for the quarterfinal matchup against Charleston Southern. The Bucs are playing good basketball heading into the tourney and an upset of the top seed is not out of the question. I think UNC Asheville will sneak by and advance to the championship, which would be played on their home floor. On the other side of the bracket - I like High Point in an upset over #2 seed Radford, but Winthrop is the squad I feel will go the distance. They will not be intimated playing at UNC Asheville in the title match, and I like Winthrop to advance to the NCAA tournament.

Patriot League Tournament

In short, this is Bucknell against everyone else. The Bison cruised through the regular season to a 16-2 mark and they are head and shoulders above the field. One of Bucknell's regular season losses came vs. Lehigh, who I see the Bison playing in the Semis, but as long as Bucknell is in it, they will be playing on their home floor, and they are virtually untouchable there. In the bottom half of the bracket, I think it's a toss up between Colgate and Navy to advance to the title tilt, but I'll give it to Navy who is playing well entering the posteseason. In the end, however, it's Bucknell that will once again be reppin' the Patriot League in the Big Dance.
